About Us

Meet Our Team!

At Bow Chika Wow Town, we understand that your dog is a member of your family. Our team of certified animal care specialists truly appreciate and value the trust that you place in us. We do not take that trust lightly. Many days, our own dogs come to work with us and we want you to feel confident in the care your dog receives as we treat each pup as if they are our own. All team members participate in on-going education. Bow Chika Wow Town is a Dog Gurus approved company with each team member having participated in this training and passed their quizzes after each assignment. Additionally, Bow chika Wow Town is proud to be the 1st pet care provider in the State of Rhode Island to begin certifying our staff in accordance with the Professional Animal Care Council.

Our team is more than staff, they are family and they treat your dogs as part of our family.

Maria

Maria, Shift Lead

In between working on her degree at Roger Williams University, Maria is here as one of our Attendants. Her love for dogs and wanting to be a part of a team that is responsible for healthy and happy play is what brought Maria to The Town. We asked Maria, “If you were a dog, what breed/mix would you be and why?” Maria: “I would be a Min-Pin! I’m strong willed. I can be shy at first but I will open up upon getting to know you. Like a Min-Pin, I am happy to tag along on any and all adventures as long as i’m with my humansI”

Sarah

Sarah, Daycare Attendant

Sarah started as a Kennel Attendant with us, but it quickly became apparent that she would make a great Daycare Attendant. Sarah is the outdoorsy type, liking to go on hikes, gardening, and just being able to be out and enjoy nature. Sarah’s love for dogs extends to her 130lb Lab and to her Golden Retriever puppy at home.

We asked Sarah, “If you were a dog, what breed/mix would you be and why?” Sarah: “I would be a Husky. They are so beautiful and strong and like me, they love the snow and the cold.”

Christine, Daycare Attendant

Christine is a huge advocate for animal rescue. She has been with the Rhode Island Parrot Rescue since 2015.  Although Christine has a degree in Animation, her heart is with the animals. Christine has a soft spot for the senior dogs and enjoys educating people on proper animal care.

We asked Christine, “If you were a dog, what breed/mix would you be and why?”

Christine: “I’m a Chihuahua because they think they’re tough (when they are not) and they never shut up. I’m stubbornly head strong and wary of strangers, but value being around those I love.”

Our Mission

At Bow chika Wow Town, our mission is to make your life easier, and your pup's life happier. We do this by providing exceptional care and service with a focus on the individual needs of each pup.

Our goal is to be the premier pet care facility in the State of Rhode Island while giving our clients the opportunity to become part of a life-saving mission. We are more than a business. Our social business plan is to partner with rescue organizations to help them help homeless pets. Not only is your dog getting an excellent daycare and/or boarding experience, you are helping to save lives by choosing us as your provider. The more you stay, and play, the more homeless dogs we can help.

Our award winning services include:

  • Doggie Daycare that provides supervised socialization, exercise and mental stimulation to help achieve a well balanced dog.
  • Dog Hotel that provides a safe and comfortable place to stay when Mom and Day need to be away. Our dog Hotel is staffed overnight so that the pups are not left alone.

Additionally, we proudly offer:

  • Grooming services to maintain a healthy pup on the outside
  • The Snack Shoppe in our lobby that offers high quality treats, chews, and interactive toys to maintain a healthy pup on the inside

A mission is defined as “a body of persons sent to perform a service or carry on an activity”. We would be honored to have you be a part of our mission!
